We’re looking for a Consultant to join our Commercial Operations team and drive our client engagement model. You will operate as a Tyba expert on battery storage, and leverage your expertise to support our commercial objectives. You will onboard, support, and nurture customer relationships end-to-end—from product education to ongoing consulting services—while collaborating closely with sales, marketing, product and operations teams. Your work will help ensure our products deliver tangible business outcomes for both prospective and current customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-facing energy-related roles and excel at solving technical challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end experience of our customers
- Serve as the primary point of contact for specific customer accounts, including scheduling / running meetings, routine product support, triaging product requests, orchestrating customer-specific analyses and owning key stakeholder relationships.
- Drive customer onboarding and implementation processes, including creation of training materials and management of complex asset and market integrations.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on company products and relevant power market, utility, and state programs that impact modeling.
- Develop and maintain internal BI tools to conduct analyses to support sales opportunities and customer engagements.
- Research relevant incentive programs and regulations to support Tyba’s customers.
- Be the voice of the customer to the company on how we can better serve customers to maximize value and retention; as part of this, you will provide feedback to product and modeling teams to inform our product development.
- Support Tyba sales & marketing teams with business development through your battery storage expertise and domain knowledge.
Skills and experience:
- Exceptional ability to interpret and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and BI tools such as Tableau; familiarity with Python and API-based tools is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience, ideally in Consulting or customer-facing energy-related roles.
- Familiarity with energy markets, trading, or infrastructure financing is a plus.
Compensation and benefits:
- Salary: $110K-$150K, depending on experience and qualifications.

Are you open to remote work?
We have hub offices in Oakland and Los Angeles, CA, and remote team members across the US. This role will be based in either of Tyba’s hub offices, but we will also consider remote and hybrid working locations for excellent candidates.
